2.2 Information from TikTok API
When you connect your TikTok account through TikTok Login API, we access the following data through
TikTok's official API endpoints:

When you apply to a campaign or register as a creator, your profile information becomes visible to
verified beauty brands on our platform. This includes:
- TikTok username and public statistics (followers, video count)
- Creator strengths and specialties
- Previous collaboration experience
- Pricing information
Important: We will NEVER share your personal contact information (email, phone number,
shipping address) with brands without your explicit consent. Contact information is only shared when you
are selected for a campaign and agree to participate.
4.2 With TikTok Creators (For Brands)
Brand information, including brand name and campaign details, is visible to creators browsing available
campaigns on our platform.
4.3 Service Providers
We share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our platform:
- Firebase (Google): For authentication, database, and hosting services
- TikTok: For TikTok Login API integration and profile verification
- Vercel: For web hosting and deployment
These service providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the
purposes we specify.

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public
authorities.

- Immediate Deletion: When you disconnect your TikTok account or delete your Glow
Besties account, all TikTok data is immediately removed from our active systems
- Access Token Expiration: TikTok access tokens expire according to TikTok's security
policies and are automatically removed from our systems
- Backup Retention: Backup copies containing TikTok data are retained for up to 30
days for disaster recovery purposes, then permanently deleted
- Analytics Data: Aggregated, anonymized TikTok statistics (not linked to individual
users) may be retained for platform improvement and trend analysis
You can disconnect your TikTok account at any time from your profile settings, which
will immediately stop all TikTok data collection and remove your TikTok information from our platform.
